What is the Wales North America Business Chamber?
The WNABC is a business network founded by the private and public sectors in Wales to promote international investment and trade links between North America and Wales.
Who should join?
- All North American companies and individuals who have, or wish to have, business links with Wales.
- North American companies and individuals who wish to strengthen their ties in Wales and the UK.
- Welsh companies and individuals who currently have, or wish to have, business links with North America.
- Advisers and consultants on Welsh/North American investment and trade.

- As a member, you can develop business with other WNABC companies in the US & UK, through the use of our On-Line Membership Forum, accessible only to members though a membership password given on joining. Instructions on how to access the forum, amend your details, and post special offers to members, etc. are given on joining.
- You can promote your company to other WNABC companies by becoming a WNABC Corporate Member or Partner (£250 or £500 for a year, with a direct link from your logo placed on the home page, to your site), and/or by placing a banner ad on the WNABC website.
- Members can use, and can reach out to, a wide audience for their products/services by placing special offers on the WNABC Membership Offers web-site page.
- To gain more exposure for your company, you can put on a programme of specific interest to members, or sponsor an existing event, using the expertise of the WNABC Board and Officers.
- The WNABC Board will help “effect introductions” to relevant contacts in government and the business community.
- The WNABC will also refer your company to members and non-members when suitable opportunities arise.
- Learn about trends and issues in transatlantic business through our various briefings on trade and newsletters sent to members periodically by email.
- For Welsh companies, we can provide contact with Welsh business people living in North America who can provide advice about doing business there and provide services to help Welsh companies wishing to trade in North America.
- Individual Members can attend all WNABC events at discounted rates. Corporate Members & Partners attend FREE of charge. More high profile events are being planned and can be viewed, and registered for, when our new website goes live from 1 May 2009. Our current website contains historical and background information.
We recognise that for large North American companies already operating in Wales, some of the opportunities of membership will not, perhaps, be as relevant to your business. However, as advocates of Wales as a place to do business, your support as a Corporate Member will help companies thinking of inward investment and collaboration to choose Wales as their UK base.
How can you join?
It's easy. Just click on the link "Become a member" in the Main Menu on the left of this page, fill in the very small number of required fields in our membership application form including the type of membership required and submit that electronically. You will automatically be registeedr as a new member and will be confirmed electronically. Entry-level (Supporter) Membership of the Chamber is without charge. Individual, Corporate and Partner Membership provides enhanced benefits that can promote your business including: access to the members-only sections of the web site, access to our discussion forums, oppertunities to attend our high profile events and access to our experienced and growing membership base on both sides of the Atlantic.
